The Common Man

THE COMMON MAN - An American Experience

THE-COMMON-MAN-200
What Went Wrong?

By the early 1900s the U.S. was the manufacturing center of the world and so it was thought, according to F.W. Taussig, Ph.D., who in 1914 wrote The Tariff History of the United States and on Page 447 scoffed, “It was worth while…to put an end to the superstition that all prosperity was dependent on the maintenance of a rigid protective tariff.” There were “…predictions of general disaster, of collapse for all manufacturing enterprises, of destruction to the American standard of living.”

Those very thin
gs mocked by Taussig are now upon us: Our ma
nufacturing has collapsed, the American standard of living is declining and general disaster is looming.

The Pilgrims came here in search of freedom. The Founding Fathers enshrined it into the Constitution.

All three branches of the federal government (President, Congress and the Courts) are using Mainstream Media and Academia, including our public schools, to attack the People, States and the Church.

We all sense something is terribly wrong. The bad news? Things are much worse than they appear. Either the Republicans and Democrats truly don’t know what’s going on, or they are being deceptive. Neither is a good scenario.

We must take action to restore our "unalienable rights."

What Do We Do?

When Mel Valkner, CPA got out of the Army in 1971, after serving in Vietnam from 1969-1970, he went to college majoring in political science and philosophy and began a life-long search for truth. Reading the Bible from cover to cover he put his faith in Jesus Christ. Continuing to read the Bible in its entirety, now more than 30 times, he compared it to the Koran (this chapter alone is worth the price of THE COMMON MAN).

Over the years he worked for healthcare, service, education and manufacturing companies. In short, he has been around.

When he ran for U.S. Congress in the fall of 2010 he wasn't interested in just pointing out our problems. Lots of people were doing that. He wanted real answers. So he spent 2,000 hours searching for Constitutional Solutions to the nation's problems and came up with TCM (The Common Man) Power Principles.

He found it. He found the source of the nation's ills.

Among many fascinating elements, his new book THE COMMON MAN offers comprehensive explanations of how the People, States and the Church can take back their rightful power from the federal government. See the TCM Power Principles summarized below:
